The Big Freeze that hit Huddersfield this winter inflicted massive damage on our road network. Snow, ice and plummeting temperatures not only made it the severest winter in 30 years, they also left a moonscape of pitted and potholed roads to be repaired up and down Kirklees.

Paddock Cricket Club is hosting a ‘Sport Relief Mile’ event on Sunday, 21st March 2010 at 14:00.
Why not join me and the people of Huddersfield at Paddock Cricket Club in support of ‘Sport Relief’, a ‘Comic Relief’ initiative, whilst at the same time having some fun and getting us all active! You can walk or run a mile (5 laps around the cricket field) – you can even bring the dog!
